Thursday 11th July
Unfortunately I have been unable to find an opposition for this Friday and therefore there will be no game. Our next match therefore is away to Heathfield Park on Thursday 25th July.
I was also made aware last night that next Wednesday is the school's 'Oliver' production and therefore there will be no training next week. As that is the last Wednesday before the commencement of the school summer holidays, last night's session was the last of the outdoor season. Training will resume at an indoor venue nearer Christmas time where the squad will be split into soft-ball and hard-ball sections.
I am still looking to add one or two more fixtures to our list for this season so, as always, keep checking back for updates. Alternatively, if you want to email me (D.Taylor4@uni.brighton.ac.uk), I can let you know when any new news has been announced.
Thanks to those who have offered to help with scoring and producing a tea to match what was offered at Pett - I am trying to get at least one home fixture this season so hope you will all still be available on this date. I am also still keen to get some more help with regards to umpiring and coaching next season so if you know of anyone who is interested then please let me know.
